I am a true believer of using Scripture to raise Christian kids. This is true with obedience, work, getting along with siblings and much more. Doorposts Publishing publishes 4 character charts to help moms use Scripture as they parent.
I’ve decided to give away the 4 charts individually, so we’ll have 4 winners for Giveaway #2…woohoo! You can enter to win each of the following charts:
.
You can learn more about using Scripture with your kids in Christ in the Commandments, one of the resources in the Ultimate Christian Living Bundle right here: http://HowToHomeschoolMyChild.com/BuyChristianLiving

I loved having Bible studies with my kids. I wanted them to learn how to study Scripture themselves. The Put On Chart is a great place to start with young kids. Not only will they learn from Scripture, they’ll have fun as they put Christian character on their paper dolls.
.

Tips for wives: don’t argue, scold, roll your eyes at your husband in public or in front of others. (You really shouldnt ever roll your eyes at him)
Q Giveaway 1: I think showing respect to our husbands is very important. The best tip I can give is to relate respecting our husband as respecting God ( after all He’s the one who tells us to do this). Sometimes our husbands may not be worthy of our respect, but because God always is, we respect our husbands. (I’m not sure if this makes sense, but anyway…
Renata:)
just remember God is in control!
Giveaway #2 Lead by example. Let your kids see you reading the bible, praying, etc.
For a healthy work ethic, kids need to see you work too. (not outside the home, but inside if you are sahm) I believe in leading by example.
I do not have any tips on sibling rivalry. My kids are 9 and 10, girl and boy. They do not compete.
Tips for raising Christian children (giveaway 2): Rely on the Lord every second of every day. Point them to the Lord & live a life honouring of the Lord.
Honestly, to treat them like we want to be treated…and not like one of the kids.
Praise them in private and public.
