This past week has flown by with Homeschool Super Heroes. Thanks for all the kind comments you’ve shared about the interviews.
I thought we were going through the entire week, without a technical blunder. But then, Thursday afternoon someone tried a “brute force attack” on our server. Our sites were down and the interview was unavailable for awhile. For that reason, we are running both interviews from Thursday again. You can check our daily email for links to each interview. They will be available to hear from 2-6pm EASTERN.
I just bought a copy of the latest Bundle of the Week. It’s 5 ebooks about Christian marriage for $7.40. I can’t wait to read these. There’s even oen for husbands: The Irresistible Husband. Now, don’t nag your hubby to read it. Simply print it out & let him read it when he wants to read it. You should be more concerned about The Wife Life! And, I could have used Romance on a Budget when our kids were young….during those years when we never went out to eat! But, I will be using some of the printables in Rekindling Romance. You can use these ideas at any stage of marriage.
You can click here for more information about each book.
We have another giveaway for Homeschool Super Heroes. Actually, we’ll have 3 winners! Homeschool Super Heroes Chris & Wendy Jeub are giving away a copy of their Monster Download . . . all the downloads they have!
They are also giving away 3 copies of their $20 book, Jeub’s Guide to Speech & Debate and $20 of curriculum supplements. So, we’ll award 3 winners on the Rafflecopter form below. You have until Sunday to enter to win. You can enter each day on some entries.
In closing, this has been an eventful week for our family. I spent Monday with our middle daughter, Gentry, to help her find an apartment in Dallas as she starts working at SMU (Southern Methodist University) next Monday. Hunter has worked hard getting all your orders out the door so they arrive before you start school. Ashley spent the week preparing to teach at-risk kids in east Austin, while Jesse is doing fantastic in his new job at Samsung.
Last weekend, we had our back to school, family getaway weekend on Lake Travis. Four hours on the lake, skiing, wakeboarding & exploring…lots of fun! And we celebrated Jesse’s birthday. Here’s a great view of the lake!
What do you do before you start school?

I would like to enter the contest to win Jeub’s guide to Speech and Debate. We have just joined a local NCFCA group and our family is clueless but anticipate great fruit in our children’s/ families lives
Great. All you need to do is enter below on the rafflecopter form. We will randomly choose winners when the giveaway ends. Good luck with your local group
My biggest takeaway from the interviews are learning about all the support and the community of homeschoolers out there.
Thank you for making all of this possible.
You are so welcome. I’m glad you are feeling support in homeschooling. I have your questions from a previous comment & will be sharing them on our facebook page later this week.
