We’ve always celebrated Valentines Day as a family. I don’t like going out because it’s so crowded and not very romantic. Plus, my parents celebrated Valentines Day with us as a family. So, I followed their lead.

Stuffed French Toast - Valentines Day Recipes from HowToHomeschoolMyChild.com

Today, Steve & I started the day with a yummy Valentine breakfast of stuffed french toast.  Since it was “for two” I had to alter the recipe a bit. I spread all the cream cheese-cinnamon sugar mixture on the bread slices last night while dinner was in the over. This morning, all I had to do was melt the butter & mix in brown sugar, almonds & syrup. Then, I made the egg, milk & vanilla mixture to pour on top. Super easy & quick when you start the night before.

As it baked, I read the paper because there wasn’t anything else to do.
