Day 25 Gratitude Card Idea: Pastors
How often do you thank your pastor for his service & teaching?
Too often, we are critical of what is happening in our church. Instead of encouraging our body to work together for God’s glory, we often complain about the songs or what someone said in the hallway.
I am guilty of this very thing and pray that my kids will not follow my example of complaining. Paul reminds us
do all things without complaining & disputing (Philippians 2:14)
Stay focused on gratitude & thankfulness.
That’s what this season is all about. Being thankful for the gifts God has given me and the people He put in my life.
By keeping a daily list of gratitude, my mind stays more focused on what I have, instead of complaining about life’s struggles.
If you haven’t read One Thousand Gifts, by Ann Voskamp, I highly recommend you reading it.
If you ever struggle with complaining or grumbling, this book will help you change focus.
Of course, God is the ultimate one who changes our lives. Praise to Him for the little changes He is making in my life.
In conclusion, remember to send your gratitude card. If you can’t think of anyone to thank, send a card to your pastor or someone who God used in church today.
