Thank You Lord!

Free Life Skills Leadership Summit

I know Thursdays are usually for Thankful Thursdays, but I had the most wonderful talk with the Lord this morning. I had to share it with you.

On my morning walk, I told God I am thankful for…

… sweet chirping of birds

… gorgeous sunny day

cool morning

… most wonderful husband – Last night before we went to bed, he turned to me and said “I love you, Kerry”  It wasn’t your usual “Love you” that we say everyday.  It was super-personal & took me by surprise, meaning so much to me.  After 27 years of marriage, Steve still surprises me & gives me goosebumps 🙂

I am thankful for

my parents who laid a solid spiritual foundation in me & future generations (my kiddos) – Isn’t it cool how the foundation you lay in your kids continues to their kids and on

my daughters with a fantastic work ethic – so willing to help and serve in all circumstances

I am thankful for

Jesus Christ, who sacrificed himself to death, taking my penalty for my sin – WOW!

my son who texted me to pray from camp…that his work at a Christian camp this summer would have a huge impact on the kids

I am thankful for

my church with good theology

my son-in-law who took my daughter on a surprise trip this weekend

I am thankful for

dancing with my hubby – Special nights last Saturday & next Thursday

… terrific neighbors – Ones to minister beside & Ones to share the Gospel

What are You Thankful for?

  1. I’m thankful my husband loves the Lord and loves me. That gives me more security than any amount of money or success ever could. Life is truly about relationships!

  2. I am thankful that I have the energy to keep going day to day even with the crazy work-load I have this month. That being said, I am also thankful that June will be nothing like this month has been 🙂

  3. I am thankful that as we love our family, it is the Lord Himself who is also loving them. HE grows them physically, mentally, and spiritually. How wonderful to know that he cares for their growth as much as we parents do.

    1. I understand. Although we have our own businesses, our primary business took a huge drop in 2011. So, my husband took a different direction & God is blessing it.
