I have a 9th grader, 7th grader and 3rd/4th grader. I have done basic writing with them, but not a ton. The two older ones have a good understanding of a lot of grammar. I would love to teach those two on the same level just adjust where needed. Is that possible? The younger one is more reserved and can be overwhelmed easily not sure which level he needs.
I would suggest the Teaching Writing & Student Writing Intensive Level B combo. Level B is 5-8th grade, but can be used at a wide variety of ages. Your 3/4 student could use it if you slow down the lessons and give him/her more time. If you want something specifically for your 3/4 student, I would suggest Student Writing Intensive Level A. It is intended for 3-5th grades.
You can read more about the combo set here: TWSS-SWI Combo Set
You’ll find links to TWSS-Teaching Writing Structure & Style that teaches moms how to teach writing.
You’ll also find links to each level (A,B,C) of Student Writing Intensive that teaches kids how to improve their writing. As your kids go through SWI, you will go through the same units of TWSS.
Each of your students will need a notebook. You can buy an additional notebook or make copies within your family.
SWI has 15 weeks of lessons
TWSS can be used from 2nd to 10th grade.
