I keep hearing over and over again to relax and just enjoy things. I love that I’m hearing that but at the same time I am really puzzled about how to check my children’s work. Does anyone use Daily Grams? If so, how do you grade it? Do you go over every single thing that your kid’s have missed? Or have them correct it?
I used Daily Grams for several years. In grading Daily Grams, I marked the ones that were wrong and had them find their mistake (similar to math). I did not grade their work every day, just a couple times a week. If my child couldn’t find his mistake, that’s when I would discuss it with them. If he kept making the same mistake, I knew we need to re-teach this concept.
