Kim Kautzer (WriteShop)

Kerry Beck (How to Homeschool My Child)

Kerry has been encouraging homeschool parents for the past 15 years, as she and her family traveled to book shows.   1. My greatest struggle in homeschooling is teaching my struggling learners. My children have various learning challenges. Helping them reach their full potential is challenging!

    1. Thanks for sharing, Amy. I hope to do a facebook live on learning challenges. Are there any specific ones that you would want to share? I’d love to address specific topics of my readers.

  2. My oldest struggles with dysgraphia. My second has ASD (Aspergers), dyslexia, and SPD. My third has significant hearing loss, speech issues, severe dyslexia, and memory problems. My youngest has ADHD. So whatever topic you choose would be helpful!

    1. Sounds like you have a wide variety of issues. I am praying for you and wisdom to help each of your kids.

  4. My greatest struggle comes when I realize that I am struggling with consistency and time management. This leads to struggles with our oldest children whoa re in high school as well as our 5th grader and middle school aged child.

      You are definitely not alone in time management or consistency. I think this is a common challenge. I hope to share more ideas each Monday about scheduling, managing time and consistency. Thanks for your honesty.

      I think this is a consistent theme when I hear homeschool moms describe their biggest challenges. I started Mom’s Monday Lunch Bunch to talk about these type of concerns.   5. Consistency and wanting to do it all are struggles many of us face. I do. Be encouraged, Ladies, that you are not alone and that you through God’s grace are enough and doing enough.

    1. Amen Amy! It is only through God’s grace that we can be a mom to our kids. I love the verse that says: My power works best in your weakness. So true! I’ve seen it in my life that when I am weak, He is always strong.
