Christmas Celebrations {Giveaway}

10 free unit studies

Next week I’m hosting a free workshop about putting Christ back in your Christmas. During that workshop, I’ll be giving away a copy of our Christmas Celebrations ebook.

Christmas-Celebrations-Advent-Christmas-Epiphany

Christmas Celebrations:  Advent,Christmas & Epiphany is a book I wrote because our society has taken Christ out of Christmas.

In my own home town, the Office Depot clerk remarked on her headset they could not wish customers “Merry Christmas”. She went on to say, she could wish them “Happy Hanukah, Holiday, Kwanzaa” or whatever else!

Let’s put Christ back in our Christmas celebrations with family traditions and activities that are meaningful.  This book is full of ideas for you.

You can sign up to win by leaving a comment on this blog post.  Just share a family tradition during Advent or Christmas.

You can also join our free workshop on Tuesday, October 30 (9pm Eastern) and get our Free Advent Countdown.

What will we cover at the workshop?

  • How an ordinary family overcame the crass commercialism of America’s Christmas season
  •  The 4 tips of reaching outside your family during the Christmas season.
  • The 3 steps to putting Christ and “His Story” back into your Christmas celebration
  • Christmas around the world activities & ideas
  • The dangers of America’s Christmas celebration
  • Symbols of Christmas & their Christian meaning
  • As many different ideas that your family can implement as I could squeeze into 70 minutes!
  • The biggest obstacles that stand between you and a meaningful Christmas season with your own kids

    1. Kristina,
I remember reading the nativity story on Christmas Eve as a child myself. We continued that tradition with my own kids.

  1. Now that the older children are old enough to voice an opinion, they have spoken up for going to Midnight Mass every Christmas. With their help, it is possible to get the little children there to this beautiful tradition focused on the Christ Child.

  2. I grew up on Santa and so when I first started to feel convicted to change my idea of Christmas it was honestly hard. But I really want to instill truth in my kids. Last year we started doing the Truth Behind the Tinsel: An Advent Experience for Little Hands with my daughter and this year we will do it again with the help of my son who just turned 1.

  3. We like to try and find a church and got to Christmas Eve service and also we’ve already started sing Christmas Hymns so my 5 & 3 year old will recognize them and be able to sing along either At church or with the radio. We’re tight in money so this really will be A Christmas focused on Christ.

    1. We plan to do another workshop on Tuesday, November 13. You can watch the replay of last night’s workshop by registering on this site. When you register, you will receive the link to the replay. The replay is available for this week only.
