A couple years ago, I bought a chalkboard cross. Every day for the month of November, I have been writing something different on my awesome Thanksgiving decorations. I keep my cross in the kitchen (since I spend a lot of time in this room!), so I can see it throughout the day and remember the “thing” I am thankful for. It reminds to pray for whatever is on my cross as well.
I gave one to each of my adult daughters, who also use it regularly. Ask a different child each day for one thing/person/animal to write on the cross. Or you could list multiple ideas on the cross as well. Here are some different ideas:
