I’m sitting in the Houston airport waiting for my connecting flight to Nashville & the Blissdom conference. I just found out about the conference last weekend, only to find it was sold out. I put out some feelers, but didn’t find any tickets. By Tuesday night I had told several people that I will put Blissdom 2013 on my calendar & make plans to attend.
On Wednesday morning, I received a tweet from Leisa saying she had a friend who was selling her ticket. It took me about an hour to make travel arrangements and get the ticket.
Why am I sharing about Blissdom on a homeschool blog?
There are 2 main reasons I want to attend this conference. Blissdom is a conference on blogging and I want to make this blog the very best it can be. Even though I’ve helped homeschoolers online for over 10 yrs, this is a brand new site. I want it to provide you with a great experience, as well as excellent information to improve your homeschool. I believe the workshops at Blissdom will help me tweak our site in ways that you will like.
Secondly, there are other homeschool bloggers that will attend Blissdom. I want to get to know those ladies & share their sites with you. Maybe a few of them will even join the ranks of Sally Clarkson & Andrew Pudewa as one of our Homeschool Super Heroes this summer.
If you want to read about the homeschool bloggers at Blissdom, read the feed for #hsbliss on twitter. The general twitter feed is #blissdom. We’ll be sharing what we learn and who we meet this weekend.

Have heard about Blissdom for a couple years now. Is it always in Nashville? I’d love to go next year. It sounds just dreamy! Can you tell me more about what I can expect?
Thanks!!
Blessings,

Kerry, I’m glad we could spend a little time together at Blissdom this year. It was great to see you again. That conference was just brimming with creative people and I’m really glad I went.
