How did I go from NOT being able to walk to skiing in the Rocky Mountains?
I owe it all to Dr. Minke (& obviously God). Dr. Minke is a massage therapist who told me that . . . what I do at home is just as important as my appointments.
He gave me a simple exercise on how to stand up and he told me this…
I was shocked at how wonderful it felt and how quickly it works.
In December, Steve & I flew to Boston for a New England Patriots football game. On the flight home, my neck was extremely sore. Before we boarded the plane, I grabbed a wet paper towel from the bathroom.
I put a few drops of YL peppermint oil on my neck and applied the wet paper towel. By the time I was on the plane, my neck was feeling better. Yep, I boarded the plane with a wet paper towel on my neck.
I love essential oils because they are so easy to carry on trips.
I did the same thing on our ski trip. Every morning & afternoon I applied peppermint oil to my hip and neck. After using a warm, wet compress, I was ready to go.
My son-in-law, Jesse, was also sore after the first day. He used it and was surprised at how quickly it penetrated his muscles. Jesse & Ashley both used my YL peppermint oil on the trip.
My Everyday Essential Oils kit arrived today and I’m like a kid in the candy store, waiting to use the oils.
Actually, I wish that I knew about Young Living Essential Oils when my kids were young & I was in the doctor’s office on a regular basis. I spent so much time researching remedies for us to use at home. I would’ve saved myself hours of time researching & looking at the health food store for a cure.
When we have grandkids, I’ll be giving a Start Living with Everyday Oils kit as a baby gift.
