One of my biggest challenges is overwhelm and figuring out where to go from here and how to sift through all the seemingly endless ideas, honing in on the most important things. Some of my biggest needs are encouragement, organization, focus, and motivation.
I think you’re in the same boat as so many other homeschool moms. If I’m unable to cover those specific topics in the workshop, I’ll post something on the blog. It is so easy to get overwhelmed with so many great ideas.

I am in complete agreement with Judy. I need to add structure and enforcement into it as well.

My biggest struggle right now is developing a love for learning in my boys so that they stay motivated and become independent learners. I feel overwhelm with the constant chase of telling them what to do over and over again even though we pretty much keep the same schedule. I have 2 younger (5 total kids) that are under 3 years old and often demands my time and attention.

I have a lot of challenges! Some issues are consistency, organization and being very overwhelmed. I am having a hard time getting my children to become independent learners and they lack motivation. I feel like I am failing my children.
You are not failing your children. I’m certain. You might consider bite-size chunks. Take one small step towards independent learning. Work on that for at least 4-6 months. Then reevaluate.
Mine is time management for multiple kids as well as taking care of both school and home/office duties.

Mine is time management for multiple kids learning different subjects and levels as well as how to take care of school/home/office/parenting/teaching duties in a well balanced and effective manner each day.
Our biggest struggle is getting our almost 8 yr old to self-focus and WANT to do the work, whether it’s copywork, computer work, household work, exercise, etc. She did great at public school or other group settings and says it’s because everyone else was working too. But won’t when it’s just family (younger sis 5 too). That’s not how a leader is built! She will want to “lead” any type of group play with friends or random kids at the playground. And we are very concerned with changes we see in our society, culture, government, etc, even into my Christian mom groups!
Our biggest challenge is trying to figure out how to bring joy into the process. We start our day with a Bible study, which helps, but then it’s on to the school work. Sometimes it goes smoothly, sometimes it ends up with everyone being sent back to bed. Either way, it just feels like a chore that has to be done. I don’t get to do the things that I want to do or am good at because all my time is spent on school and household chores. We want to enjoy life together, but we can’t seem to find the time to do it.

Thanks for sharing and being transparent. One thing you might consider is the method or approach you are using to homeschool. It may not be a good fit for your family. When I changed the method I used to homeschool, we had more fun and time to do life together.
