How To Homeschool My Child

Kids & Sports

Hope you are having a great week.

Tonight Steve & I attended a high school basketball game. No, we don’t have any kids playing sports but we wanted to see our son’s good friend playing in one of his senior games. It’s a bit strange to not have football or basketball games to attend. At least we don’t have to drive to those out-of-town game through snow or ice 🙂

However, I do have fond memories of all the games we’ve seen our kids play over the last 12-13 years. We had so much fun as a family. We always attended as a family. It was expected that we all cheer each other on. And, it’s been exciting to see my grown daughters come cheer on their little brother these last few years.

Are you struggling because you are tired of going to watch your kids’ activities?

You’d rather stay home. It’s normal to be tired…but I’d encourage you to enjoy every minute and savor the memories….and take lots of pictures. It certainly does not last forever. It’s a season of life…and it will be gone before you know it….really! 🙂

ps. Most of you know I think we are overcommitted and have too many activities. We worked out the activity situation by allowing our kids a limited number each year.Let them choose and then wholeheartedly support what they choose.
